December 2nd, 6 pm - City Hall
Mark your calendars and ring in the
holiday season with us on December 2nd,
6 pm at the Roeland Park City Hall.
Roesland and St. Agnes Grade Schools
will provide traditional holiday music.
Please join us
and other special guests in lighting the
holiday tree.
In honor and celebration of the 222nd
anniversary of the US Marine Corps,
Roeland Park will be kicking off the
“Toys for Tots” campaign at this event.
The Toys for Tots program has brightened
the holiday season for children of
lesser privilege everywhere through the
generosity of individuals like you and
communities like ours. Bring a toy or a
contribution and give a child another
reason to smile this season.

2008 Leaf Pickup
Schedule
The City will
begin its’ Annual Fall Leaf Pickup next
week and continue it through the end of
November. A final full city sweep will
be completed during the first week of
December.
All Streets West of Roe
November 17th - 21st
All Streets East of Roe
November 24th –26th
Roe Blvd
Saturday, Nov. 22nd
(Streets will be
blocked starting at 7 am to allow
residents to push their leaves into the
street. Last pickup to be completed by
noon.)
