Northeast RJ- AT 4800 Johnson Drive
The site was originally home to one of the clover leafs for the Shawnee Mission Parkway interchange. Following removal of the clover leaf KDOT transferred ownership of the land to Roeland Park and the site served as green space. The 2.69 acre has been the focus of a planning effort which began in 2016. CBC Real Estate Group has led the City through a visioning effort focused on goals developed for the site through citizen input.
The site is anticipated to be developed as a single lot with multi-story building(s) with a mix of office, retail, residential and dining space. The City is looking for a building that has unique architecture to accent this key entry to the Community that is also complimentary to the new bank and hospital located at the northwest corner and the proposed Gateway development on the southwest corner.
As part of the planning efforts the City has completed surveying and utility relocation plans for the site. Rezoning and platting steps will proceed when a developer is selected.
CBC Real Estate is actively marketing the property. Please contact Jason Glasrud with CBC with any questions.
